una forma letteraria che mi ha sempre affascinata è senza dubbio la poesia. Non mi ritengo una grande esperta, ma credo che certe forme di scrittura siano più di altre estremamente soggette ad un giudizio personale e relativo.

A form of art that always fascinated me is without a doubt poetry. I' m not a great expert, but i really think that this way of writing is more than others subject to personal and relative judgements.

Mi sono imbattuta in questo scrittore assolutamente per caso. Gironzolando per la libreria, ho letto il retro della copertina, e per quel poco che costava ho deciso di comprarlo.

Mario Molfino è stato una dolce sorpresa.

I ran into this writer just by accident. While searching through the library, i read the back of section of the book, and for how cheep it was, i decided to buy it.

Oggi volevo presentarvi il mio pellicciotto, assolutamente finto al 100% ! Le foto non sono un granchè, ma siccome questo capo mi ricorda tanto quello della mitica Margot dei Tenenbaum, mi sono sbizzarrita nel decorarle.

Today i wanted to introduce you to my fur coat, absolutely 100% fake! The pics are not really good, but this item reminds me so much of Margot from the Tenenbaum, so i had fun by adding some stickers.

Inoltre l'ho pagato solo 15 euro durante i saldi!

Besides, i only payed 15 euro for it during sales time!

Avere un colore di capelli particolare aiuta sempre; i capelli sono il miglior accessorio, e credo che Cookie sia peculiare proprio per questo motivo. Inoltre adoro la sua spontanieità e naturalezza; i look che crea sono sempre molto semplici e portabili, e come me adora i maglioni oversize.

I think that having a particular hair color always helps; the hair are the best accesory ever, and i think that this is why Cookie is so peculiar. Besides i simply adore her spontaneity and naturalness; her outfits are always very simple, and just like me she adores oversized sweaters.

OLSEN INSPIRATION

Non sempre apprezzo lo stile delle gemelline Olsen. A volte è troppo elaborato e soprattutto carico di accessori, mentre la mia filosofia è più sul "less is more".

Poi però mi sono imbattuta in questa foto, presa direttamente da OLSEN ANONYMOUS: la cosa che più mi piace è l'oro abbinato alla camicia a quadri, e lo stile grunge un pò sporco, che viene alleggerito dai tacchi altissimi.

I don't always appreciate the Olsen twins style. Usually i find it too elaborated and most of all overloaded with a lot of accessories, while my sense of style is closer to the "less is more" philosophy.

But then i stumbled into this pic, found on the OLSEN ANONYMOUS blog: the thing i mostly like is the gold jewerly matched with the squared shirt and the grunge look, a little bit dirty, that becomes sophisticated with the high heels.

Ed ecco la mia personale interpretazione; la foto risale alla scorsa settimana, ed ero malaticcia, ecco il perchè di quella faccia!

And here is my personal interpretation; the outfit is of last week, when i was a little bit sick, that's why my face looks that way!

Di tanto in tanto mi piacerebbe dedicare uno spazio anche al mondo della moda maschile. I miei gusti in questo campo sono un pò "alternativi"; i classici bellocci non m intrigano più di tanto, mentre i visi e i corpi particolari non solo mi incuriosiscono, ma mi danno la certezza che un classico canone di bellezza è sempre più discutibile e relativo.
Josh Beech ne è un classico esempio, inoltre il suo mondo di provenienza è prettamente musicale.

Once in a while i would also like to dedicate a section to the male modeling world. My tastes in this field are quite "alternative"; the classic good looking boys do not intrigue me a lot, instead particular faces and bodies make me curious, and this also gives me the certainty that a classic beauty rule is becoming more and more questionable and relative.
Josh Beech is a typical example, and most of all he belongs to the music world.

NOSTALGIC ME

L'anno scorso mi è stata regalata per la laurea la cosa che più bramavo: un lettore di vinili. Ne ho collezionati moltissimi senza mai poterli ascoltare (da pazzi, direte voi!), e aspettavo solo il momento giusto per potermi permettere il "supporto".

Last year, for my master degree, i received one of the things i mostly wanted: a vinyl player. I have collected so many vinyls without beeing able to listen to them (crazy you might say!), and i was waiting just for the right time to buy the player.

Quindi oltre a vestiti, scarpe e libri, la mia camera è anche territorio di vinili; li amo perchè il suono, come sanno i veri intenditori, è più caldo, meno asettico e soprattutto più fedele. Questo è stato uno dei miei primi acquisti: Simone White

Inoltre le copertine sono bellissime, alcune delle vere opere d'arte, e non nascondo il fatto che ho già pensato di incorniciarne qualcuna.

Besides, the covers are beautiful, some are are true pieces of art, and i already thought about framing some of them.
